Do you Fancy Snacking on Snake?

Snake is one of the oldest games around and there are few gamers who won’t have spent at least a few hours driving the snake around the screen on their phone of computer. Snake Munch offers an updated version of this classic game. Read on to discover if the game is worth your time.

For those who are not in the know, the basic concept of the game involves steering a constantly moving snake through a maze while picking up objects along the way. Every time you pick up an object your snake will grow slightly, while each maze is more complex than the last.

One of the things that makes the game challenging is that in addition to avoiding the walls of the maze, players have to avoid crashing into parts of the snake’s body. This becomes more difficult the longer you snake grows and the upper levels can be very tricky. Fortunately, you can choose the difficulty level at the start of the game and begin nice and slowly until you feel confident enough to ramp things up a notch.

One of the features that makes Snake Much a bit different from the regular game is that players have the chance to design their own levels. You will be able to make the mazes as complicated or as easy as you wish depending on your skill level and have fun playing this unique level as many times as you want. There are also forty different regular levels to play and the controls are easy to use.

The cool graphics also give the game an extra dimension. Players also have the choice of four different kinds of snakes, each of which is represented by different colours and patterns. While the graphics are still a bit on the basic side, they are very smooth and match the style of the game very well. Other unique features include turning speed and growth speed.

Although Snake Munch doesn’t really offer gamers anything new, it is a good rendition of a classic game that will lead to plenty of moments of nostalgia. The cool graphics and the fact that gamers have the chance to create their own special levels are nice touches that will keep fans of Snake coming back for more.
